Step into the atelier of Philippe de Villegas, where Moorish archways whisper to Mughal gardens and hand-carved lattice meets the hush of limestone courtyards. His visionary designs drip with old-world grandeur while teasing the entrant with tasteful restraint.

The hallmark of his designs combine the regal intricacies of India with the shimmering mysteries of Morocco to create bespoke interiors and gardens that breath life into fading regal estates that — without his visionary hand — might be lost to time. Atelier de Villegas transforms structures into sanctuaries and weaves spaces into stories. His designs marry the tactile elegance of artisanal craft with the spiritual geometry of a space outside of time, uniting his spaces into a symphony of intimate, private retreat.

Each commission — whether a secluded desert riad, a full colonial restoration, or a grand country estate — is a tapestry of texture, light, and lineage. Handwoven silks, tadelakt plaster, and rare marbles come together under his skillful direction, guided by an inborn sense of authenticity and privilege.

At the heart of the design ethos lies reverence: for history, for material, and for soul. His spaces are not built, they are summoned.

Intimate Interior Visions

Stillness. Sensuality. Timeless beauty. These are the hallmarks of the hand of Philippe de Villegas. From custom-made furnishings to expertly curated antiques, his narrative is deeply personal and yet profoundly poetic. A living sculpture of light, texture, and intention.

Garden & Landscape Designs

Spaces of reflection; not merely landscaped, but composed. Whether influenced by Mughal charbagh, courtyards in Marrakech, or the ornate palace gardens of Europe, the atelier creates gardens that breathe with memory — worlds unto themselves.

Historical Restorations

With an archivist’s eye and an artisan’s hand, de Villegas brings important historical structures back to life. The renovations honor original craftsmanship while seamlessly integrating contemporary function. The atelier works in dialogue with time, not against it — not only preserving legacy but rebirthing it.
